Willie Pete’s Custom Baits Partners with Purple Heart Homes to Support Veterans
Willie Pete’s will donate a portion of every sale throughout 2025
“Willie Pete’s Custom Baits, LLC is excited to announce support for Purple Heart Homes! As a veteran myself, being able to help improve other veterans’ lives one home at a time is an honor and privilege. A portion of every Willie Pete’s sale during 2025 will be donated to help the mission.”
About Willie Pete’s Custom Baits, LLC
Willie Pete’s Custom Baits was founded by Brent Hill, an Army veteran, tournament angler, fishing guide. Brent’s lifelong passion for bass and crappie fishing led him to craft handmade, high-quality baits for friends and fellow anglers. After years of testing and refining, Willie Pete’s now produces exceptional resin swimbaits designed to target giant bass.
The name “Willie Pete” pays tribute to Brent’s military career as a Field Artilleryman, where “Willie Pete” is short for White Phosphorus—a military munition that deploys clouds of white smoke for screening, marking, and signaling.
Willie Pete’s swimbaits are 7 inches long, weigh 2.5 ounces, and feature a true hybrid design that allows them to glide, chop, and swim at the highest performance levels. Each bait is handmade, hand-tuned, and built with premium components, including rotating hook hangers and a removable stainless-steel hinge pin for fine-tuning.
“I’m proud to combine my love for the outdoors with my commitment to serving fellow veterans,” Brent shared. “Willie Pete’s mission is about more than fishing—it’s about honoring service and giving back.”
